With issues like competition for water and rising sea levels, climate change has become a peace issue.

Nottingham residents are taking a stand to bend the course of history. We're joining avaaz's international campaign to call for the world we know is within our reach: a world with an economy that works for people and the planet; a world safe from the ravages of climate change; a world with good jobs, clean air and water, and healthy communities. A 100% clean world!

We'll be marching around the City Centre, starting and ending in Old Market Square. Why not arrive early for the Silent Vigil. Bring what you need to keep warm and dry, and sensible footwear! Email emma.wolves@hotmail.co.uk for more information.
