Peaceful death: Is this possible in the 21st Century?

This seminar at the Queens Medical Centre will explore the concept of a peaceful death from the perspective of patients, health care practitioners, academic literature and popular media. Implications for palliative care practice will be explored. Seminar participants will have the chance to discuss their own views on the concept of peaceful death.

This presentation by the Sue Ryder Care Centre for the Study of Supportive, Palliative and End of Life Care is led by Professor Bridget Johnston, Professor of Palliative and Supportive Care. We will start with light refreshments at 12:30pm, presentation will commence at 1pm.
